Pajaretes and puppies!

You'll remember from a couple of weeks ago when we came across some people milking cows and they offered us a cup of pajarete. Well yesterday, Barb and Sal arranged for the rest of the campers to be able to taste this special local drink.

So we loaded up a few vehicles and went for a drive to the other side of the lake where they were doing the second milking of the day.

Lots of people going for pajaretes!

Can we be next? The cows like coming to get milked because they get to eat something they like while they're being milked.

Campers could try their hand at milking if they wanted to.

These six little ones are only two weeks old!

Awwww...take me home please!

Ruth and a puppy. No, we didn't adopt one!

Not sure what's on the schedule for today, but at 9:00am we're headed up to the camper room where Chris and Juan are making  everyone breakfast! I'd say that's a pretty good start to the day. But first, off to do our morning power walk!

  1. Puppies are so sneaky - they are so cute it's hard to say no to them. Now cows - kind of cute but not too cuddly so saying no isn't that hard. Jim always makes breakfast so I'm a happy camper every day.
