Well I guess it was a 24 hour stomach bug! I woke up this morning surprised that I had slept so well through the night, and proceeded to feel better throughout the day. Now, I feel just about fine, I think!
The highlight of today was a visit from Dave and Marina, a couple from Perth, Ontario, close to our home town of Ottawa. Turns out that Dave came across our blog last fall when he was planning their trip down to Mexico, and he’s been following along ever since. They’ve been driving around Mexico in their VW van and finally managed to be in the same place that we are, so they came over for a visit, which we enjoyed. They are headed to spend almost a month in Puerto Escondido, so maybe we’ll get a chance to see them there before we head further north.
So we are moving on tomorrow, back to Puerto Escondido, but only for a few days. Then back to Playa Ventura and then Acapulco. I have a feeling that February will fly by pretty quickly, and we still want to spend a week or more at Hacienda Contreras. So we better start heading north.
When we move out of here tomorrow, it turns out that Dave and Marina are going to come and take over our spot. They’re over at the expensive RV Park paying 300 pesos per night, so this will be much better and right beside the beach.
No pictures today. When you run out of things to take pictures of, it must be time to move on!
