Hot, hot, hot...!

We finally have a summer heat wave going on here in Eastern Ontario! Temperature today was around 34 C (93 F) which is nice and warm.

I love it. Having said that, we are also giving Sherman's air conditioner a bit of a work out. But we have the thermostat set high, at about 78F, which makes it nice and comfortable in here. Plus it does make it better for sleeping at night, although I will turn it off before going to bed.

But, I spent the entire day out in the heat. I'm covering my blood courier run morning and afternoon today and tomorrow, so I drove 400 kms (280 miles) today with the windows wide open and the wind blowing through.

Ruth is up visiting her Dad for a couple of days, and she took Whiskey with her, so I'm all by my own self for the next little while.

  2. Gosh, I cannot even take the high 80's we are having here in Wisconsin with the high humidity. This morning it was 99% humidity. ICK

  3. We have another hot day expected, no break until Friday, but we will happily take this hot weather over cold winter weather any day.

    Will be nice when we are on the road all the time then we just move to higher ground for some cooler temps!
