We will spend much of this week getting ready for our month in the motorhome!
We're not actually leaving until the early morning of Monday March 1, but we will sleep in Sherman the Sunday night so that we can just wake up, fire up the motorhome, and drive...because we really want to make it into Virginia the first day, and it will be a full days driving because it's about 800 kms (500 miles).
I've been doing some maintenance on our bicycles and making sure the tires hold air. I filled them up a week ago, and Ruth's bike has one flat already, so I went and bought a new tube for it yesterday and will change it this morning. It looks like a nice day today, so I'll check the pressure and top up the motorhomes tires as well.
Ruth got an email from the tour bus company that she works for asking her to do a tour today, so she's off to Toronto for the day. And she's doing another one this Wednesday, I think. It would be nice to get a little more notice, but I guess that's not the way things work. And because Ruth hasn't been working at anything else, it really doesn't matter anyhow. When we get back to Kingston April 1st, she'll be pretty busy with the bus tours all summer.
And the RV dealership where I work in the parts department is gearing up for summer as well, so I'm going into work today as well. They have a big RV show and sale downtown next weekend, so I'll be busy helping with that as well.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
