Travel deals

January is typically a slow month for the travel industry. Most people took time off at Christmas, and they will go back to work on Monday when their children go back to school. And they spent a lot of money at Christmas and don't have any left to spend on travel.

And so the January deals start.

If you're close to a major travel hub (like Toronto, in our case) there are some screaming deals to be had if you'd like to head to warmer places...

How about $75 plus tax for a round trip flight to Acapulco, Mexico?
How about $29 plus tax for a round trip flight to Fort Lauderdale, Florida?
How about $127 plus tax for flight and an all inclusive week in Varedero, Cuba?

Wow!

We are soooo tempted to take advantage of one of these great deals!

  1. Wow....that is unbelievable !! We hope to be able to take advantage of these last minute deals, when we shake loose of these chains..ha ha. Hey, btw...Teresa was asking me if you managed to trap those rats you were posting about ??

  2. That rat seems to have disappeared. We've got 4 traps set up, and he set one of them off without getting caught. Since then, he's been scared away, we think.
