Near Puerto Escondido (day 7)

Sunday March 1…11:00pm

Marie and Alfredo made us Enchiladas for breakfast. The sauce they use is very different. It’s made with apples, bananas, garlic, jalepeno peppers and other stuff. Very spicey for breakfast!

On a Sunday, the river was even more busy with people. Sherman was surrounded by many vehicles, including a bus. We sat and read for most of the day, and just watched the people play in the water.

We left Alfredo and Marie to do their wedding preparations. They came and reported to us in the evening that she had bought a new dress today. We’ve volunteered to help with whatever they need to get things ready for tomorrow. They have 20 live chickens that need to be “prepared”, but I think I’ll avoid that scene. Maybe I’ll help with the BBQ!
