Huguenot Park

 Monday March 31…10:45pm

We slept in this morning…we didn’t get up until 8am because we didn’t get to sleep until late last night. After breakfast, we went and parked near a condo building where I could get internet access. It was calm and warm already so Ruth went for a bike ride along the beach.

Drove much of the day along the interstate…they are a BORING way to travel, but certainly the most fuel efficient if you do 55 mph or less. Now that we have retraced our steps to the Jacksonville area, we are going to stick to the side roads. Still trying to figure out our route over the next 2 weeks…the only stop we know for sure is Washington, D.C., so we’re not positive where we’re heading over the near term.

Did a bit more groceries because we’re going to be parked up at Huguenot Park for the next two nights…no stores, and no internet access. But, only $7 a night. It turns out that it’s Spring Break for the entire South Eastern United States this week, so the parks are pretty busy, and with lots of kids. Oh well.

Lots of water and beach and sand dunes here, with a Navy base across the bay. Kind of an interesting spot to spend a day or two.

Total Nights Sleeping in the RV… 164

March Grocery $ 508.03
